I like loud, but

What talent was on that stage!!!! The ladies had the most beautiful voices! The choreography was fun and added just the right touch. The audience was polite and appreciative.
My only criticism (and it’s an important one) is that the band was way, way, way too loud. A cappella songs were awesome! However, both my husband and I looked at each other after accompanied songs and said the same thing, “Could you understand the singers?” Hardly a word was decipherable. I’m not sure if the theater was much smaller than what they’re used it. Or the sound man was on vacation was the reason. It was very, very sad. I like loud music, but what’s the point of drowning out the lyrics?
